C#.NET: How to convert List to String Data Type

Asmak9.EssentialToolKit library provides a rich method to convert List data type structure into String data type structure.

Today, I shall be demonstrating method of Asmak9.EssentialToolKit .NET library to convert List data type structure into String data type structure using C#.NET console application.

 

Prerequisites:

Following are some prerequisites before you proceed any further in this tutorial:

1. Install Asmak9.EssentialToolKit Nuget Package.
2. Knowledge of Nuget Package Manager.
3. Knowledge of C# Programming.

The example code is being developed in Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Professional.

Let's begin now.

1) Create new C#.NET console application and name it "ConvertListToString".  

 

2) Open "Tools\Nuget Package Manage\Manage Nuget Packages for Solution...".

3) Install Asmak9.EssentialToolKit Nuget Package.

4) Now, create "ConvertListToString.cs" file and type following lines of code i.e.

// Initialization
List<CustomerObj> list1 = new List<CustomerObj>();
List<int> list2 = new List<int>();
List<string> list3 = new List<string>();
List<char> list4 = new List<char>();
List<int[]> list5 = new List<int[]>();

...

// Convert List to String method.
string content1 = utilityKit.ConvertListToString(list1, ";");
string content2 = utilityKit.ConvertListToString(list2, "-");
string content3 = utilityKit.ConvertListToString(list3, ",");
string content4 = utilityKit.ConvertListToString(list4, "/");
string content5 = utilityKit.ConvertListToString(list5, "#");

...

The above code will convert provided list data type structure into string data type structure separated by the provided separator. You also need to initialize 'UtilityKit' class with or without your license key.

5) Now, execute the project and you will be able to see the following i.e.
