WPF: How to convert Text to BitmapImage

 Asmak9.EssentialToolKit library provides a rich method to convert text input into BitmapImage.

Today, I shall be demonstrating method of Asmak9.EssentialToolKit .NET library to convert Text into BitmapImage using WPF application.

 

Prerequisites:

Following are some prerequisites before you proceed any further in this tutorial:

1. Install Asmak9.EssentialToolKit Nuget Package.
2. Knowledge of Nuget Package Manager.
3. Knowledge of WPF Application Development.
   
4. Knowledge of C# Programming.

The example code is being developed in Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Professional.

Let's begin now.

1) Create new C#.NET WPF application and name it "ConvertTextToBitmapImage".  

 

2) Open "Tools\Nuget Package Manage\Manage Nuget Packages for Solution...".

3) Install Asmak9.EssentialToolKit Nuget Package.

4) Now, create "Views/HomePage.xaml" file.

 

5) Open "Views/HomePage.xaml.cs" file and place following lines of code i.e.

      // Convert text to Bitmap Image method.
      // Parameters are as follow i.e. Input Text, Font, FontSize, Width, Height, Text Screen position X, Text Screen position Y. 
      this.img6.Source = utilityKit.ConvertToBitmapImage(text2, "Ariel", 14, 480, 320, 50, 50);

...

The above code will convert the provided text to BitmapImage format with suitablefont, font size, width, height, screen position X and screen position Y for the image to be processed. You also need to initialize 'UtilityKit' class with or without your license key.

6) Now, execute the project and you will be able to see the following i.e.
